About the Photographer: Brad Ottosen, portraits and events
I’m a native Houstonian who has enjoyed taking pictures since childhood. I have always had a natural talent for it. After college, I worked as a writer for a daily newspaper then became the staff photographer. I photographed sports, events, fires, car wrecks, corporate portraits for public figures, and many other assignments for several years. Following that, I assisted other professional photographers with weddings and studio portraits for several years.
I had a studio in the Sharpstown area but recently relocated to an office building complex on 290 at Mangum Road beside Nick’s Grill since more business professionals seem to prefer going to that area for their executive portraits. In case a client is unable to make it to the studio to get his/her portraits taken, I also provide location photo shoots in Houston, Texas with a mobile studio and a variety of backdrops which can conveniently be set up in his/her home or office in the Houston, Texas area. Digital images are downloaded to a client’s laptop within five minutes following the photo shoot. I drive to most areas on the west side of Houston, Texas and Fort Bend County. I’m available to do corporate portraits as early as 4am and as late as 11pm seven days a week for your convenience.
Unlike other photographers, I prefer to provide same-day, evening, weekend, and last-minute appointments. I’m very patient and take the time to explain to my clients exactly how to pose for their portraits in order to get the best shot. In addition, I’m easy to get along with.
I specialize in executive portraits, engagement portraits, and events but provide all other types of photo shoots, as well. I have been using Adobe Photoshop since 1997 so I am very good at airbrushing, if needed.
