Event Photography Hourly Rate:
The hourly rate for the event photography is based on the type of event and the total number of hours needed. A 50% deposit is required to book the event photography. Venmo, Zelle or Cash App are accepted for the deposit and final payment.
Number of Images:
The number of event photography images taken depends on the type of event. For casual events such as birthday parties I typically take an average of 300 pictures per hour. The digital images will be available on a temporary Dropbox Online album within 72 hours following the event.
Download Tips:
For best results, download the entire Dropbox album to your home computer with one click. It is very quick and easy to create a completely free Dropbox account.
Images saved to a cell phone will be very small, grainy, low-resolution, thumbnail images. To post some images to your social media, be sure to use the images downloaded to your home computer. This way, you can share the high quality version with others.
High Quality Images:
Be sure not to attempt to download the images to your own Dropbox album. I take a large number of images at events and the files are taken at a file size large enough for excellent printing quality. Therefore, you will not have room to even save a small portion of the images in the very limited space in your Dropbox account.
Booking Your Event Photography:
I recommend that you book your event photography at least 6 months in advance. I can, however, sometimes squeeze in events with short notice if I happen to have an opening.
